There’s a “pick me” demographic (males too, not just women) in every country. I’m Australian and I know plenty of “pick me” girls but you go to any country, they’ll exist there too. The trick is to look in the right places for the more centred and grounded guys and girls who aren’t wrapped up in Internet popularity or care too much about likes, followers or subscribers on what ever platform they’re obsessed with. They’ll have their small group of friends, but that’ll be it. They’ll love the simple things in life, enjoy their own company but also they’ll love to spend time with other people without feeling that overwhelming need to be surrounded by people or to be the centre of everyone’s attention. Those are the kinds of people who’ll make time for you without having their needs be more important than yours. Look for those kinds of people!
